HONGKONG JOURNEY 3

15 May, 2010

Woke up in this morning on 06.30 a.m.^^ It's rainy, good weather. it’s just plain cold.

We're was to checkout the Hotel.! Then,I went to eaten at restaurant. the next place went to Wong Tai Sin Temple.

When we're arrived at Wong Tai Sin Temple, I called him Wong Tai Sin from then on. It is said that he punishes evils, heals the wounded, and rescues the dying. With his mercy and his power, he is said to grant whatever is requested. Wong Tai Sin Temple is known for its fortune-telling. The fortune sticks in Wong Tai Sin Temple are very accurate.

Wong Tai Sin is one of the most popular gods in Hong Kong, as prayers believe Wong Tai Sin gives them what they prayed for!

On 10.30 a.m. Then, we went to Chi Lin Nunnery Temple. Which is not far from Wong Tai Sin temple.

The present-day buildings are wood frame buildings built without the use of any iron nails. This construction is based on traditional Chinese architectural techniques dating from the Tang Dynasty that uses special interlocking systems cut into the wood to hold them in place. The Chi Lin Nunnery buildings are the only buildings to be built in this style in modern day Hong Kong.

walked around the temple.!

In the afternoon, I went to Ngong Ping 360, that is conveniently located at Tung Chung on Lantau Island.

After that..I arrieved at Ngong Ping, I'm seat the Ngong Ping Cable Car. It's very excited!!

Ngong Ping Cable Car is a visually spectacular 5.7km bi-cable ropeway. As the first of its kind in Hong Kong, the cable car journey begins from Tung Chung, crossing Tung Chung Bay to reach the angle station on Airport Island and turning about 60 degrees in the air towards North Lantau.

Visitors will enjoy some of the best views during their joyful 25-minute ride: the vistas of the distant and vast South China Sea and the rolling grassland slopes of North Lantau Country Park from the cable car dramatically change from the hustle and bustle of the city, to the serene and natural surrounds that Lantau is famed for. Ever-changing panoramic views also include the Hong Kong International Airport, verdant, mountainous terrain of Lantau Island, the Tian Tan Buddha Statue and the 360-degree view of the Ngong Ping Plateau.

I saw that Hong Kong International Airport!!! ^^

Approaching the Ngong Ping Cable Car Terminal, you will begin to catch your first glimpses of the mighty Tian Tan Buddha Statue. Alighting from the cable car, you are a short stroll from Ngong Ping Village and its many attractions and retail, dining and entertainment experiences. You are also only a five-minute stroll from the Ngong Ping Village to the Tian Tan Buddha.
